Blackberry, Blue cheese & Walnut Scones
Makes - 8 approx
Ingredients: 175g/6oz SR Flour 55g/2oz Oat bran 1 tsp Baking Powder 55g/2oz Soft Margarine 25g/1oz Soft Brown Sugar 7 tbsp Butter milk 110g/4 oz Blackberries 50g/2oz Blue Cheese, crumbled 50g/2oz Walnuts, roughly chopped
Recipe: Heat the oven to 220C/425F/ Gas Mark 7. Put all the ingredients into a bowl & mix to a soft dough.
Lightly knead & roll out to 1.25cm/1/2” thickness, cut out 6.25cm/2” rounds.
Serve with butter & slice of cheese.
