 About Martick Jewellery
Martick Jewellery was founded in 1988 by Julie Martick. The company launched with a range of contemporaray cufflinks, which at that time was groundbreaking. The collection
was very successful and was stocked by prestigious fashion stores across the UK.
Martick has concentrated on making good quality silver jewellery with a fashion bias, using traditional manufacturing methods - Each piece of Martick silver has hours of handcraft put into it , starting with the labour intensive master patterns, the subsequent cire perdu castings, through to hand soldering, finishing and polishing.
Julie Martick studied at the Medway College of Design in Kent, which has historically had great links with the major jewellers of Bond Street and whose designers havwe won many awards. Julie graduated from the College in 1979 with a Gemmology Diploma.
