Blonde
Blondes were out in force on the s/s 2010 catwalks. In particular platinum blonde is set to be massive this season. Perfect for anyone who wants to make a statement look, it also has a multitude of versatile options to suit any client willing to go for it.

This clean bright colour can compliment a wide variety of cut and styles from the edgy Sarah Harding punk look to the ever changing tresses of Lady GaGa.

If you still want to be on trend but don’t fancy an all over colour, another option is to define your cut and style with platinum flashes and bold highlights. The colour can be cleverly used to compliment or define texture or can be used to extenuate a new fringe.

Brunette
For darker based client, it’s all about luxurious gloss. Leading the style stakes is Cheryl Cole with her rich chestnut finish and fantastic shine that really makes her stand out from the crowd.

Another female celebrity who is on working this season’s trends perfectly is Frankie from the Saturdays whose rich chocolate shade works perfectly with her short on trend asymmetric cut.

Texture
Hair is becoming more fun again with texture playing a big part. From the Kate Moss disheveled casual waves to sculpted high-maintenance locks.

Style
The ever popular bob is to take on some great new looks using colour to accentuate the cut. This could be in the form of subtle highlights and flashes of colour to glossy natural all over colours that shine to the max.

Accessories
Hair accessories including bows and embellished slides and combs are set to make a comeback. As seen at Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel, they are a great way to complete your look. If you find they slip out of your hair, simply backcomb the area to allow the accessory something to grip on to.
