MIDSUMMER MIDNIGHT WALK
ashgate_new_logo.jpgAshgate Hospice has been caring for patients in the North Derbyshire area for 20 years and to continue needs to raise £1.5 million a year from donations made from the community.

To celebrate their anniversary they are holding their first ever Ladies only Midsummer Midnight Walk.

This will be a half marathon (13 miles) walk setting off from at midnight on Saturday 21st June 2008 from Cliffe Park, Callywhite Lane, Dronfield and walking a marshaled route to Ashgate Hospice and then returning back to Cliffe Park returning in time for breakfast on Sunday 22nd June 2008.

We would like as many ladies as possible to take part and raise sponsorship. You may want to walk in memory of a loved one or as a goal to get in shape or if you fancy a good girls night out (without the alcohol) we would be delighted to have you along.

There is a registration fee of £10 and this will include all sorts of incentives and goodies along the way. If you feel you cannot take part in the walk you can still help we are in need of marshals and volunteers to ensure that the event runs smoothly.

If you wish to take part or you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact Emily Evans, Fundraiser at Ashgate Hospice on 01246 568801 or alternatively you can e-mail emily.evans@ashgatehospice.nhs.uk
